Green Turtle Cay - Southern End

One of the things not to be missed besides strolling down the streets is a stop in the Memorial Sculpture Garden. Here artist chronically describe the history of the island with captions about the prominent figures that added to commerce and independence of Green Turtle Cay.  There are some remarkable stories here.
The bronze figures are wonderful. I have not figured out the significance of the radial design of the bust placement in the garden, but it is well done.

Whale Cay passage- coming over in November

The second time we went by it was calm as could be. Not an issue either day, but I was more worried about the pilings that were cut off two feet under water. The marks here are simply a black piling stuck out of the water. No color, no sign, easy to miss - never consider this at night!! Do get the positions from your guide book. Current can be strong taking you where you might not want to go. Sails are optional..engine a must.
