Leaving Beaufort.

We are in a wonderful marina in the heart of restaurants, a bakery, bars and a pharmacy ( good place to get bug spray). At the laundry the people remarked at how vicious the mosquitos can be here). I did sheets because I had tried a hatch above our bed and aparently did not close it very well on our cruise to Salisbury. So the bed had water on pillows and sheets and the mattress. New pillows before we left helped. It is CLOSED now!
The seas Charles spoke of came at us every ten minutes from both sides which resulted in the boat shifting starboard rail in then seconds later port rail in and rolled back to starboard and back to port. Yo
u need good holding as you are on a horse not a boat at that time! I was below a lot ( I am really chicken and like below in bad seas) and I paid the price at breakfast. Breakfast returned in the galley sink. Then I (S) was fine. Beaufort stop was indeed smart. We enjoyed a day of sun followed by rain all day and today we are getting out of here. We have two mega yachts which have appeared making it difficult to pass through this small throughfare between them. Fingers crossed on that one.

If you get here, the No Name Pizza place is the best food in town for lunch. Owned by a Greek family they took over what looked like a pizza hut and do great gyros. The place across the street is the Beaufort Cafe owned by the same folks. Best breakfast. Welll let's get going.
